On October 4th, Christians worldwide celebrate the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals and ecology. This day recognizes his devotion to poverty and his respect and love for all living creatures.

As a tribute to his legacy, Our Lady of Angels Association will be offering St. Francis Pet Medals to commemorate the teaching of St. Francis of Assisi that all creation is a part of God’s family.

I have blessed each medal in thanks for the joy and friendship animals bring into our lives, acknowledging God as the ultimate creator of all living things.
